The end for usage of needles is on the way, to protect from the seasonal flu. Now the teenagers and youngsters can be free from pressure of needle jab.
Team of Korean researchers led by Dr. Mi-Na Kweon of the International Vaccine Institute in Seoul of Korean researchers worked on mice vaccination. They worked on preventing the pain during vaccination.
National Academy of Sciences, online edition reported the study conducted by the team on safe vaccination. The team is keen on vaccinating people by vaccines directly to mucus membranes and prompts a response both in mucus tissues throughout the body as well as in the immune system itself.
Here the immunization is through just placing a couple of drops of liquid under the tongue.
Dr. Cecil Czerkinsky, deputy director-general for laboratory science at the Institute said that the studies of alternative vaccination on humans could pave way for the development of new generation of vaccines.
